Capt. Rajesh Tandon (India)
Capt. Tandon is Managing Director of V-ships India. Starting his sailing career with Shipping Corporation of India in 1975, Capt. Tandon rose to the rank of Master in 1983. He has sailed on various types of vessels, specializing on VLCC & VLOO carriers.
He joined V Ships in 1988 and was appointed ashore in 1991. He took up the position as Managing Director of V Ships in India in 1997, a position he continues to hold. He also holds the portfolio of Operations Director of V Group Manpower Services, with global responsibilty.
Capt. Tandon holds several honorary positions in the Maritime Industry in Training, Seafarer Welfare organizations, industrial relation matters and other professional bodies.
Rajesh was elected Chairman of IMEC in July 2014.
Capt. Alfred von der Hoeh (Cyprus)
Capt. Alfred von der Hoeh, Director of Crewing for Marlow Navigation, sailed from 1975 until 1988. He joined Marlow Navigation, Cyprus, in 1990 with a 4 year assignment in Manila, where he started up Marlow's own offices. Presently he is in charge for the crew operations with 12,000 crew of several different Nationalities.
Capt. von der Hoeh has attended IMEC meetings since 2002, participating in 2 rounds of IBF negotiations and several local negotiations as well as being a member of the Recruitment & Training committee.
Capt. Belal Ahmed (Singapore)
Capt. Belal Ahmed is Managing Director of Western Shipping, an owner management tanker company providing marine transportation of chemicals and petroleum products to the energy market globally.
Mr. Simon Spacey (Singapore)
Simon Spacey has over 20 years of crew management behind him. Today he is part of the senior management team within CMA Ships, a group of companies managing CMA CGM's growing fleet of state of the art Container vessels. He shares responsibility for over 100 vessels served by pool of over 4500 seafarers from across the world.
Simon has long been a member of IMEC, in 2009 he joined the board and has since participated in the last two rounds go the IBF negotiations.
