The Crew Enhanced Quarantine International Programme (#CrewEQUIP) enables a facility sponsored by a shipping company, to become recognised as a pre-embarkation quarantine facility for seafarers.
Once a hotel is certified as a #CrewEQUIP facility, seafarers will be able to undertake a safe quarantine period, to limit of the risk of bringing COVID-19 onto their ship.
A hotel will be deemed to become a recognised #CrewEQUIP facility after successful completion of an external audit through the programme’s recognised organisation Lloyd’s Register.
