The International Maritime Training Trust (IMTT) was established in 1998 to administer funds arising from the IMEC/AMOSUP TCC that were intended to upgrade training facilities in the Philippines. Subsequently these training funds were included in other agreements covering Sri Lanka, Poland and an international agreement.
