IBF Warlike Operations Areas Committee
The IBF Framework TCC Agreement provides that seafarers serving on ships operating in areas of warlike operations should be entitled to additional employment benefits. The areas designated as qualifying for these additional payments are specified by the IBF Warlike Operations Areas Committee.
The rules of the Committee provide that it should meet at least once per year to review the overall situation concerning warlike operations around the World, and that it should also meet if certain objective measures of the threat of warlike operations are satisfied in respect of particular countries.
