Sustainable Initiatives to Support Future Generations
As the shipping industry continues to evolve, so must the seafaring profession. At IMEC we endeavour to provide sustainable crewing solutions for our Members, as well as facilitate opportunities for continual professional development across all roles and responsibilities, whether that be inspiring the next generation of seafarers, or enhancing the skills of maritime instructors.
The IMEC Recruitment and Training Committee was established in 2006 and is responsible for overseeing the various IMEC training initiatives. The committee is made up of a team of elected IMEC Member representatives, who collectively contribute their extensive wealth of experience and knowledge to guide and support the direction of future training projects.
